There were several locks that we had to go through
when we left St. Petersberg down to Moscow.
The Rybinsk Reservoir is an
artificial lake formed when Lenin built a dam and flooded the area in 1941. When you travel over the river you can see the
top of the Bell Tower of the Cathedral that use to be at the center of the town.
